Reflection: This learning object is considered a "Web 2.0" tool. By exploring the tools and creating an artifact I was able to experience tools that educators can use with students to collaborate and communicate. Web 2.0 tools can support students in many ways, as explained in this Web 2.0 wiki. The Web 2.0 technologies are not limited by subject. They can be videos, mobile projects, images (such as mine!) and more. No matter the topic/subject, students will always need a variety of ways to express content and communicate amongst themselves and with the teachers. For example, almost any subject teacher could use a tool such as Coggle or Popplet to help students collaborate and challenge their previous knowledge.
